Metal Gear Survive: How to Save

How to Save in Metal Gear Survive

Recommended Videos

As you play through Metal Gear Survive, completing missions, upgrading your character, and, of course, killing hordes of zombies, you’ll want to be sure that your progress has saved.

Thankfully, since the Metal Gear spin-off is an always online title, saving your game isn’t something you should worry too much about. Whenever you see some white squares spinning in the top right of the screen, your progress is being saved and you would restart from that point should your character die. Also, Metal Gear Survive will save whenever you begin or end a mission, or alter your loadout/outfit in the lobby area.

When you’re playing alone, you can also interact with Virgil and choose the ‘Save and Exit’ option for a manual save that will see you exit the game safely. The game also auto-saves during missions at certain checkpoints and whenever you craft an item. Just look out for the yellow spinning circle in the top right corner of the screen for when you’re safe to stop playing.

That is all you need to know about how to save your game in Metal Gear Survive. For more, be sure to check out our guides wiki.
