Nintendo is re-releasing Hyrule Warriors for the Nintendo Switch, and it’s dubbed the Definitive Edition. Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have just released a new trailer for the game, and this is the first in a series of character introductions that we’ll be seeing in the weeks leading up to its release. You can check out the trailer down below.
In this one, we catch glimpses of Link himself, Zelda, Impa, Volga, and more. We also get a look at some of their unique abilities in the game itself, along with some in-game story cutscenes. Overall, the game is looking pretty nice so far, and it should see some success on the Switch, especially since the Wii U didn’t have such a huge install base. Fire Emblem Warriors’ relatively positive reception is also proof that these Musou-styled games have a home on Nintendo’s new console.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch on Mar. 22 in Japan, and some time in spring for the west. We’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way.
