Attack on Titan exploded onto the anime scene years ago, and it’s enjoyed enduring popularity since. Koei Tecmo’s 2016 adaption of the series surprised players with its tight, exciting combat that stayed true to the style and feel of the show. Now Attack on Titan 2 comes to consoles in March, and it follows the story of season 2 of the anime.
In addition to the new story, the gameplay of Attack on Titan has received a number of enhancements and refinements. Titans now have more actions and variety in their behavior, making for a much more varied combat experience that requires you to adapt. Luckily, the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear has also been improved allowing you to move quicker and with more precision. The year’s off to a good start for anime games with Dragon Ball FighterZ, and if Attack on Titan 2 is anything like the first, it should definitely be on your radar.
