Can You Earn Overwatch League Tokens?
The very first Overwatch League finally kicks off today, bringing together teams representing major cities from across the globe. With $3.5 million in prize money, you better know it’s going to be a fierce competition with plenty of fans watching from around the world. To celebrate the League kicking off, players can now get themselves some sweet League Skins in the game which can be purchased with League Tokens. With the arrival of these tokens, of course, the question on everyone’s lips is can these be earned.
Unfortunately, you cannot earn Overwatch’s League Tokens. Instead, if you want them, you’ll need to cough up your hard-earned cash. You’ll get 100 League Tokens to get you your first League Skin, but after that, you’ll need to delve into the world of microtransactions. We’ve included the full pricing list for the different denominations of League Tokens for your convenience below:
- 100 – $4.99
- 200 – $9.99
- 400 – $19.99
- 900 – $39.99
- 2600 – $99.99
While it’ll certainly come as disappointing to some fans that these League Tokens can’t be earned, the money raised from them goes to each respective team, hopefully allowing the Overwatch League to continue to thrive.
