Lost Sphear: Where and How to Fish

Where and How to Fish in Lost Sphear

Lost Sphear is the latest title from Tokyo RPG Factory and Square Enix, and it’s a sort of spiritual successor to 2016’s I Am Setsuna. Both games have a similar look and feel, and each use a similar Chrono Trigger-inspired turn-based combat system. That isn’t to suggest Lost Spear is little more than a reskin, however, as there are plenty of unique features here beyond its story. One such feature is fishing.

Fishing isn’t especially well explained to players during the tutorial mission in which you’re introduced to the mechanic, and it never really brings up the topic again afterward.

Don’t worry, though, it’s actually quite simple. First, find a sign that has a fish on it near a body of water. These can be found around the docks of certain towns, as well as other miscellaneous areas and dungeons. Press X near the water when you’re close to the sign to cast your rod. You’ll know when you’ve hooked a fish because the rod will begin to bend under the tension. As it does so, press X to reel in your prize. You can use fish to create recipes that will buff your character with various effects.

Fishing isn’t something that is super crucial to the game, but especially for those trophy hunting on PS4 especially, it’s something you’ll need to get to grips with.

That does it for where to, and how to fish in Lost Sphear. For more guides and FAQ answers, be sure to search Twinfinite.
