Little Inferno developer Tomorrow Corporation announced its newest game, 7 Billion Humans, coming to Nintendo Switch and PC.
The game is billed as a sequel to the studio’s visual programming-based puzzler Human Resource Machine released in 2015. This “thrilling followup” allows the player to create programs to control swarms of people to solve puzzles, instead of just one avatar from the original. Check out brief glimpses of gameplay on the game’s official website.
Tomorrow Corporation released the first trailer for 7 Billion Humans, posted below, showcasing the basic premise of the game. The entire human workforce has been replaced by machines and now have no means of making money, except for one gigantic office building offering jobs completing basic tasks alongside others to make up a parallel computer. From the trailer alone, the new game seems to retain the washed out look and dark, satirical humor of Human Resource Machine and Little Inferno.
7 Billion Humans has been announced for Nintendo Switch and Steam, though no release date has been confirmed yet.
