How to Get the Civilian Outfit in The Escapists 2 on Nintendo Switch
The Escapists 2 tasks you with escaping from the world’s most secure prisons. Finally, all of those episodes of Prison Break you binged are finally going to pay off! One of the ways you can escape from two of its levels involves getting a civilian outfit, allowing you to blend in and stroll past the prison guards effortlessly. As such, we’ll tell you what you need to do to get the civilian outfit in both the Center Perks 2.0 prison, as well as Area 17. After that, though, we’ll leave you to figure out the rest on your own.
How to Get the Civilian Outfit in Center Perks 2.0
Starting with Center Perks 2.0 in The Escapists 2, the civilian outfit is actually pretty easy to get to. If you’re wanting to complete the Meet the Crew quest, the first thing you’ll need is the civilian outfit, so head straight upstairs to the first floor when you drop into the level.
Take a look at your map and you should see a room with a smiley face in the center. To the right of this, there are three much smaller rooms, each about a third of the height of the smiley room. You want to make your way to the bottom of these three rooms. Head inside and loot the desk in this room. Sure enough, you’ll find the civilian outfit you’re looking for here, as well as a radio receiver which, spoilers, you may need later to complete the Meet the Crew quest.
How to Get the Civilian Outfit in Area 17
For this one, you’ll actually need to head to the Maintenance Room on the first floor where you start. It’s marked by a Wrench logo in the center and is directly north of the cell area where you start out. To get to this, you’ll need to head out of the red doors in the bottom left of this initial cell area you find yourself in and then make your way up. If you can, you might want to get a Guard Outfit, though, just in case you bump into a guard along the way. Once you make it to the Maintenance Room, check the desk and you’ll find the Civilian Outfit inside. Now you’re all set to carry on lingering around Area 17 without being spotted immediately by the guards.
