When the Desert Map Release Date Is for PUBG on Xbox One

Recommended Videos

PUBG has finally hit the Xbox One in its early access format. While players of this console version have already got handy features such as the ability to climb and vault low obstacles, other features currently in the PC version haven’t yet made their way to the Xbox One version. The desert map, for example, which has only been live in the PC version’s test servers for now, isn’t yet in the Xbox One version. Here’s what we currently know regarding a release date for the desert map in PUBG on Xbox One.

While the desert map will hit PUBG’s PC version officially as part of the game’s 1.0 release on Decemver 20, Xbox One owners will have to wait a little longer. According to Eurogamer, it’s believed that the desert map will hit the Xbox version of PUBG sometime in early 2018.

Whether or not Bluepoint will choose to also wait until the game’s 1.0 release on the console to add in the new map remains to be seen. There’s also a chance that the early 2018 release window may be far earlier than the game’s official release on console. Currently, details on the desert map’s release date on Xbox One are scarce, so we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know as soon as more information becomes available.
