Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris: How to Trigger Vex Crossroads Heroic Public Event

HOW TO TRIGGER VEX CROSSROADS HEROIC PUBLIC EVENT IN DESTINY 2 CURSE OF OSIRIS

Recommended Videos

Vex Crossroads is the name of a new public event in Destiny 2’s expansion, Curse of Osiris, that takes place on the planet Mercury. The event has you flying across the map via jump pads, battling Vex, and taking out a Gate Lord to uncover loot.

As in other public events, Vex Crossroads has a heroic mode that ramps up the difficulty and gives you a higher chance of obtaining an Exotic. In Heroic mode, this Curse of Osiris event basically plays out exactly the same way, except that the Gate Lord is equipped with a shield that makes him a significantly tougher proposition. His new protective layer makes him invulnerable, and the only way to take him out is to first kill the Vex Gate Keepers that spawn in the area.

In order to trigger the Heroic Vex Crossroads event in Curse of Osiris, play through the event like normal, shooting the Vex until the percentage hits 100. Gatekeepers will then spawn and you’ll need to choose a side and take them out. After they’re down, grab the charges they drop and place them on either side of the gate. The canon will then turn around and you can use it to launch you over to the island in the distance, where you’ll face the Keeper of Ages. Take the charges they drop and place them in the middle of the island, but instead of returning to the central area, look over to the back of the island. See the crystal floating in the air? Shoot this until explodes. The destruction of the crystal will create a platform that you can use to jump onto and shoot more crystals. Be sure to do this as quickly as possible as the platforms do disappear. Continue to do this until you reach the very top of the island. When you arrive at the top, stand on the middle platform and the event will turn into a Heroic one.

That’s all you need to know in order to start a Heroic Vex Crossroads public event in Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris. For more useful tips and guides on the game, check out our wiki page.
