The news comes via a blog post over on Playtonic’s site, finally revealing the dynamic duo will arrive on Nintendo Switch on Dec. 14. The Switch version isn’t just a straight port, though. Not only does it come with all of the updates and improvements made to the game since its original release back in April, but it also features a couple of neat additions just for the Switch.

All eight of Yooka-Laylee’s multiplayer games allow for single Joy-Con play, and there’s even a custom achievement system for those who trophy and achievement hunters among you out there.

Yooka-Laylee will be available to pre-order from the eShop on Dec. 7 ahead of its release on Dec. 14. You can check out our full review of the game when we played it on PC here.
