If you are a Voez fan, a new trailer has been released that may have you a bit excited. Voez is going to be getting a physical release that will let players experience the game in a whole new way.
First, let’s talk about the game briefly. Voez is a rhythm game that is simplistic in playstyle. Just touch the notes as they fall across your screen. But the art design and story set Voez apart from other titles that are void of a plot in favor of getting you into the music right away.
Set in a fictional town named “Lan Kong Town”, which is modeled after Yilan in Taiwan, the story is centered around 6 high school students who form a band that eventually achieves international fame.
Now, let’s dive into this physical release. Until now, the way to play Voez was to utilize the touchscreen. But the physical release will allow players to not only use their joycons but also enable TV Mode so you can see these notes on your big screen.
Currently, however, the physical release is only planned for Japan. It will be 4,000 yen and comes out on Jan. 25. But, if you haven’t already downloaded the title, gamers worldwide can still purchase a digital copy. You’ll just have to make use of the touchscreen instead of your controller.
Voez is currently available for the Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
