Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
With both Resident Evil Revelations games headed to the Switch later this month, complete with exclusive mini-games that earn players additional BP, it seems likely that developer Capcom is testing the waters to see whether bringing across its latest title is viable. Adding further weight to that possibility, Capcom actually asked Nintendo to increase the console’s RAM during its development so that its RE Engine could run properly. Surely, then, it’s only a matter of time until we see Resident Evil 7: Biohazard on Nintendo’s latest hardware?
Met with critical acclaim earlier this year when it released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, the game will be getting the Gold Edition treatment later this year, and we’d love to see this come to the Nintendo Switch, too. It would not only provide the platform with another horror title in its library (a genre in which the console is sorely lacking in at the moment) but could work well as a portable experience similar in vein to the aforementioned Revelations games. Particularly so, considering the potential for Capcom to add mini-games into the fold. With a good pair of headphones, Resident Evil 7 on Switch could prove that it’s just as scary on the go as it is at home.
