Gundam Versus: How to Unlock More Strikers

How to Unlock More Strikers in Gundam Versus

Recommended Videos

Gundam Versus has a pretty complex battle system that gives you tons of different moves to use, with over 90 mobiles suits each having unique movesets. Part of the battle system deals with Strikers, basically assist characters that are mapped to the R1 button. These characters have unique moves and uses, with some focused on close range melee attacks and some on long-range. On top of that, if you thought there were a lot of mobiles suits in Gundam Versus, there are even more Strikers with playable mobile suits acting as assists and unique characters.

You start out with just three Strikers unlocked in Gundam, all long-ranged. You can add a ton more to your repertoire, however, but you’ll need to unlock them first. Luckily it’s pretty easy to do so, you’ll just need to earn plenty of GP and know where to go. GP is the currency you use to unlock different options in Gundam Versus, and there’s a few different ways to earn it like playing online battles and trial mode. Once you’ve accumulated some points, head to the main menu and select Mobile Suit, then go to MS Development Tree. Here you can select the tree for each mobile suit in the game, unlocking new titles, emblems, and strikers. It’s important to note that you have to level up each mobile suit to have access to its entire tree, and you can only unlock every Striker by leveling and buying the Striker for each and every mobile suit.

The good news though is that once you unlock a Striker on a development tree, you can use that assist when you choose any mobile suit in battle. It’s definitely going to take a while to unlock every character, so it’s probably a good idea to look through each development tree and figure out which ones might work with your style better, or which are your favorites.
