Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Halloween Event Is Going on Now

It’s a graveyard smash.

It’s the season of spooky, and some of our favorite games are getting into the Halloween spirit. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the next to don its Halloween mask with Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream, a limited celebration of the holiday with new game modes, special goodies, and cosmetic items. If you’re planning on playing Call of Duty this October, you’ll definitely want to get in on these fun extras.

Every week players will be given a Halloween Supply Drop when they log into the game, as well as a free cosmetic item that’s bursting with the Halloween spirit. There are even free skins for your Rig that look like zombies. Plenty of Halloween gear is up for grabs when you play multiplayer games, so make sure you watch out for that.

But that’s not all you can look forward to. The Halloween Scream event will add Gesture Warfare until October 12, where players use nothing but gestures to take out enemies. There will also be a new Boss Battle mode for Call of Duty Zombies, where you’ll be able to play against boss after boss in the Zombies universe, as long as you have the corresponding DLC packages.

The Carnage map from the Retribution DLC pack will be available starting October 12. If you play the game on this map, you’ll get double XP as well. The event runs all the way through Nov. 1, so you’ve got plenty of time to indulge in the Halloween madness. Geto out there and get to trick or treating!
