Best Games to Check Out During Steam Halloween Sale 2017

Darkest Dungeon is a turn-based, roguelike dungeon crawler. While that is certainly a mouthful, Darkest Dungeon brings some very unique mechanics to the world of rogue-likes. The very basis of the game is forming a party with various attributes in the hopes of clearing various dungeons to restore the glory of your ancestral home.

Resource management, like light level, is important, as is managing the various neuroses your party members will develop from the stresses of dungeon delving. Having to actively consider the psychological welfare of your party is a feature that is often overlooked in many games, and it can actively dampen your progress if not managed effectively.

Darkest Dungeon is a unique game that might be worth checking out if you’re into roguelikes or dungeon crawlers. Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition is on sale for 52% off, and includes all DLC and the soundtrack. For more info, you can check the game’s Steam page here.
