Former Valve Writer Joins Bossa Studios For “Unannounced PC Action Co-op Game”
“Trying to do something new in the narrative space using AI”
Chet Faliszek, writer of fan-acclaimed Valve games like Portal, Left 4 Dead and even some Half-Life 2 episodes, announced today that he will be working on new PC project with Bossa Studios, the developers of titles like I Am Bread, Surgeon Simulator and Worlds Adrift.
Dubbing the project “an unannounced PC action co-op game trying to do something new in the narrative space using AI”, Faliszek quickly followed up his Tweet by stating that the developer is hiring both at its London and Seattle locations for roles in their creative and business departments.
Excited I’m joining @bossastudios to direct an unannounced PC action co-op game trying to do something new in the narrative space using AI.

Having worked with Valve for 12 years on many of the studio’s world-renown titles, Faliszek left the company back in May. The details regarding this new project are a bit vague, but knowing the pedigree of the man’s work, his and Bossa Studios’ unannounced project have a lot to live up to. Here’s hoping we’ll be hearing a lot more of this unannounced PC game soon.
