Idea Factory International released a new trailer for the soon to release title Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online, giving gamers an overview of the game before it hits stores later this fall.
“The stage of the story is set within a fantasy world, surrounded by verdant and gorgeous ocean, known as Alsgard. Logging into the game world, the four CPUs meet with the Guardian Spirit, the guide to all adventurers, Bouquet. They discover that they are the Chosen Ones tasked with the mission of reviving the Goddesses of legend, and that Alsgard is under the looming threat of the villainous Demon King.”
As for the game style and mechanics, Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online is a hack and slash style Japanese role-playing game that allows you to select one of 12 characters to master through a fantasy world filled with various monsters and beasts for you to fight, each of which can be customized with new hair styles, clothes, and accessories to give them a more personal feel too. You can play online with a party of up to 4 players to set out on missions and battle your way through the world. And if getting involved in combat isn’t your style, or you want to take a break, you can also just hang out and chat.
Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online will be made available first on PlayStation 4 and will hit the United States on Oct. 10. After a few days wait, those living in Europe will be able to grab the game too on Oct. 13. Steam players will have to wait a number of months though before they can download the title, which is set to hit the popular PC store in early 2018. If you want to pre-order the title, the window to do so will begin on Sept. 12.
