The game released earlier this year on Steam, and has gotten mostly positive reviews from players on the platform. The developers also released theHunter: Primal in 2015 to mixed reviews, which featured dinosaurs to hunt as well.

As you could tell from the title of the game, in theHunter you are put into an open world spanning over 50 square miles with a variety of animals to hunt across various types of environments. You can play with up to eight other people, either cooperating together or against each other as competition.

The console version of theHunter: Call of the Wild will also come with the Tents & Ground Blinds and ATV DLC. Both these DLC packs are currently $3.99 on Steam.

The game uses the Apex engine from Avalanche Studios, the same company that over the last two years has brought us Just Cause 3 and the Mad Max video game.
