It’s almost November and that means that it’s time for fans to get a taste of the latest title in the Call of Duty series. This year, it’s Sledgehammer Games’ turn with CoD WW2. While the game will have a single-player campaign and an all-new zombies story mode to play through, players can actually try out a slice of the multiplayer action in the beta. Here’s what you need to know to get a beta code.

First things first, it’s worth noting that for this first weekend, Aug. 25 – Aug. 28, the CoD WW2 beta is exclusive to the PS4. However, the following weekend, Sept. 1 – Sept. 4, it’ll be available on the Xbox One as well.

In order to get a CoD WW2 beta code, all you need to do is pre-order the game. When you do so, you’ll be given a code by your chosen retailer, which can then be redeemed over on Activision’s site here. Enter the code, confirm it’s correct, and you’ll then you should eventually be given a code specific to your platform of choice. This will then enable you to download the CoD WW2 beta just as you would any other digital content on your system.

And that’s all there is to getting yourself a beta code. Be safe out there soldier!
