Friday the 13th: The Game was released earlier this year and allows horror fans to play online as and against one of the most iconic horror villains of all time, Jason Voorhees. The online game sees one play take the role of the bloody killer as other players must fight to stay alive long enough to escape the evil monster.
The game was launched on Kickstarter and one of the goals was to see the game get a physical release on October 13, which just so happens to be a Friday. Developer Gun Media has released a trailer for the launch and retail copies will include new skins.
Friday the 13th: The Game was originally set to be released in late 2016 but was delayed to Spring of 2017 in order to make way for a single-player mode. This has been announced for a Summer release but we still haven’t heard anything on it, though Gun Media has stated news is coming soon. Here’s hoping that single-player update will be out before October rolls around.
Friday the 13th: The Game is available now digitally for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
