Shown as a young child with large glasses obscuring most of their face, the Botanist is responsible for keeping your team alive as they traverse the game’s many dungeons and other dangerous areas. The class is also equipped with special herbs that can deal damage, making them a class that you’ll definitely want with you as you journey into the wilds.

Other classes previously announced for the game include the Fencer, Dragoon, Warlock, Masurao, Pugilist, Necromancer, Harbinger, Rover, and Shaman, all with their own unique designs and abilities.

Etrian Odyssey V is all about the search for Yggdrasil, the towering tree that grants a person’s deepest wishes. Like other entries in the series, it is a procedurally generated dungeon crawler with classic turn-based RPG gameplay.

Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth releases exclusively for 3DS in the Fall of 2017.
