Cat Sorter VR for the HTC Vive virtual reality headset has been announced by Pawmigo Games. This VR game tasks the player to help sort and rebuild defective cats. You’ll have to act fast though, these cats come at you fast via conveyor belt, and the game can quickly turn into a feline frenzy.
You can play Cat Sorter VR either by yourself or with friends. The cats you’ll be assisting may have the incorrect number or the wrong species of feet, ears, eyes, butt, nose, or tail, and it’s up to you to make things right.
If this sounds like the game for you, you’re in luck if you live in or near Pasadena, CA. At the Pasadena Convention Center on August 12 and 13, you can get a hands on demo at the Pawmigo Games booth at the 2017 CatCon. CatCon is, of course, the expo that shows the years biggest cat-centric products. You can also meet some of the top cats in pop culture, so that’s cool.
Cat Sorter supports full room VR with a minimum requirement of 2.5’x2.5′. For now, only an HTC Vive version is planned via SteamVR. However, Oculus-owning cat fans may be able to find a workaround. Cat Sorter VR will be available on Steam VR on August 29.
