Ark: Survival Evolved Gets a Launch Trailer With Crazy Stunts and One Adorable Animal

Wild, wild, wild.
ascend, ark: survival evolved

Ark: Survival Evolved is known for some particularly out there gameplay elements, such as the fact that you can rid dinosaurs, build and break into bases, and a host of other things that make playing Ark a pretty hilarious experience. So it’s no surprise that its launch trailer is jam-packed with all that kind of stuff.

There’s also an adorable little otter who can help you find resources if you toss him into the water. But why would you ever want to do that when he’s that cute? Seems a little cruel, but hey, such is the game.

If you missed out on Ark during its time in Early Access, which lasted about two years, you’ll want to jump in now that it’s officially going to be available. Keep in mind that the price has gone up, however, to $59.99, which is essentially double the original price of the game when it was first available in Early Access.

You can see all the action in the trailer below, and get ready to get started playing Studio Wildcard’s full release of Ark, or the “next phase” of the company’s journey, as they referred to it, when the game releases on August 29 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
