Best Weapons for Every Mode in Splatoon 2

Splat Zones is one of the three modes you’ll get to play in Splatoon 2’s Ranked Battles. It’s a King of the Hill mode where your team will have to maintain control over a zone on the map, and prevent the enemy team from taking it over. The main objective here is to cover the zone with your ink as quickly as possible, especially when the enemy makes a big push. Area coverage isn’t as big a deal as it is in Turf War though, so you can get away with more damaging weapons like the Slosher, Octobrush, and .52 Gal.

The Heavy Splatling also deserves a shoutout here, as it’s a fantastic weapon that can help keep enemies away from your zones. Don’t forget to use Suction Bombs and Auto Bombs as well – these can help you regain control of a zone very quickly and easily.

We’ve listed some of our best and favorite Splat Zones weapons down below:

  • Slosher
  • .52 Gal
  • Octobrush
  • Heavy Splatling
  • Splat Roller
