Capcom is Holding a Weapon Designing Contest for Monster Hunter World

Bring your design to life.
Monster Hunter World, games

Monster Hunter World seems to be one of the series’ biggest entries yet, and Capcom is letting fans in on the fun. The official Capcom blog recently posted an announcement regarding a contest that involves making a new weapon design. The best part here is that the lucky winner will have their design included in Monster Hunter World as a fully functional weapon.

The mechanics of the contest are pretty simple as the original design must have its own name and description. Similarly, it must fall in line with one of the 14 weapon types in the game, so you can’t actually make your own “custom” weapon.

Those who plan to join will only have until 9:00 PT on August 16 to submit their work. For further details regarding submissions for different regions, you can read more here.

Monster Hunter World is slated to release on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime next year.
