Try Out Different Party Combinations
Right off the bat you’ll have all party member at your disposal in Valkyria Revolution, and they each have a specific job and strength. For example, Blum the sapper is best as a heavy magic user and healer, while the main character Amleth functions best as a tank that rushes right into groups of enemies. Because of how much variation there is between characters and how you can customize them, it’s important that you test out different party compositions and see what works best. More importantly, you want to see what kind of style you prefer.
Maybe you like bringing nothing but scouts into battle for a quick and nimble approach, or maybe you’d rather hit the enemy with some devastating magical attacks from sappers and shock troopers. The only way to find out which characters you like best, and which ones work best together, is by experimenting in battle. Don’t be afraid to bring any given character into battle, and equip them with Ragnite skills you’ve yet to test out.
