New Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Launch Trailer Is Goosebump Inducing

Today Square Enix has revealed the official launch trailer for the upcoming Stormblood expansion pack for MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, also known as Final Fantasy XIV or more simply Final Fantasy Online. At almost six minutes long, the trailer features a ton of new gameplay and cinematic footage that is sure to satisfy any fan while they wait patiently for the eventual release in the coming weeks.

Stormblood is the second expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, the first being Heavensward that released back in June 2015.

The expansion is increasing the level cap for all disciplines from 60 to 70, revamping the battle system, adding new jobs like the Red Mage and Samurai, adding new mounts, as well as a new continent, areas, stories, raids, missions, and the ability to swim. Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood is releasing on June 20 for PC and PS4, with its release also coinciding with support for the PS3 platform being discontinued.
