Shadow of the Colossus remains as one of the most beloved games of all time even today, which explains why Sony ported the game over to the PS3 a few years ago. Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn’t quite hold up today, and the movement and combat can tend to feel a little clunky and dated.

To breathe new life into this fantastic IP, and to bring newcomers into the fold, Sony announced a PS4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus, complete with a full trailer showing off Wander taking on some of the massive colossi in the game.

The Shadow of the Colossus remake is set to be released exclusively for the PS4 some time in 2018.
