Dirt 4: Is It Playable With PlayStation VR?

Earlier this year, Codemasters added VR support to their excellent rally game, Dirt Rally. The update made the game one of the best racing games available for PlayStation VR, using everything the game already did well. However, with Dirt 4 out now, people are asking whether there are plans to add VR compatibility to the game.

At launch, and for the foreseeable future at least, Dirt 4 cannot be used with PlayStation VR, but Codemasters has not ruled it out for the future. Speaking to Road to VR, Codemasters said, “we will monitor how Dirt Rally performs on PSVR and then make decisions from there.” Therefore, there is still a possibility that you will see VR support for Dirt 4 but it may rely on both that and Dirt Rally selling well over the next few months.

It would be good to see because Dirt Rally is excellent in VR and the two-player support that features a fun time-based mini-game makes Dirt Rally an enjoyable multiplayer VR game. All you can do is keep your fingers crossed.

That’s all you need to know about the game’s potential PlayStation VR compatibility. For more on all things Dirt 4 and PlayStation VR, be sure to stick with us at Twinfinite.
