Xbox Head Phil Spencer has recently taken to Twitter to praise the newly released game Little Nightmares, which was developed by Tarsier Games, who have previously worked on only PlayStation exclusive titles such as Tearaway Unfolded and the LittleBigPlanet series.
Despite the fact Little Nightmares is indeed on both the PS4 and Xbox One, Spencer’s Tweets caused a stir among some gamers who felt the head of Xbox should focus solely on Xbox games.
Spencer responded by saying that he feels good games should be celebrated, regardless of what platform they happen to be on.
Spencer went on to say that he never feels strange promoting great games.
Console wars have been around for a long time and no doubt will continue. Some gamers feel the need to try to prove their gaming platform of choice is the best but it’s nice to see an industry head like Phil Spencer show love for games on all platforms.
Little Nightmares was released in April and is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
