Alongside the announcement that a new Assassin’s Creed will be coming in the next fiscal year , Ubisoft has also officially announced that Far Cry 5 will also be out sometime before the end of March 2018 according to the company’s fiscal report. The only other information that we have on the game is the logo itself which doesn’t provide any details on what’s in store for this sequel besides the fact that it’s a main entry and not a spin-off like 2016’s Far Cry Primal or 2013’s Blood Dragon.
Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 takes place on June 12 at 1 pm PT where more information will surely be unveiled – whether it be a teaser trailer or actual gameplay.
Far Cry 4 came out in 2014 and Primal in 2016 so it seems that enough time has gone by for the team to be ready to show off their next big entry in the long-running franchise. Stay tuned for more info as E3 quickly crawls towards us.
