Cd Projekt RED, the developer behind the excellent Witcher series, has announced that an open public beta for the upcoming card game Gwent is set to go live next week. The beta will be available to all gamers, regardless of whether they’re on the PlayStation 4, PC, or Xbox One.
The public beta is set to begin next week on May 24 and, as Xbox Tavern reports, Benjamin Lee, Development Director at CD Projekt RED, stated: “Public Beta is the next step in the game’s development process, one that we’d be honored to continue alongside everyone who’s been with us thus far. It’s also a chance for many new gamers to play GWENT for the first time and we’re looking forward to making the game even better with their help.”
Be sure to check out CD Projekt RED’s public beta overview which will air tonight at 9PM CEST on the developer’s official Twitch channel. The public beta will see all cards collected so far reset and thus allow everyone to begin the beta on equal footing. Those who participate will gain some goodies including Card Kegs and in-game rewards. Better get your decks ready!
