Call of Duty: WWII has finally been fully revealed after a number of leaks and teases that have surfaced over the past couple of months.
The return to World War II has been rumored for a while but it was finally revealed with a trailer during a livestream today.
Activision has said that the game will focus on everyday people and the brotherhood that was created during the horrific conflict. The game will be darker and will have a reverent tone that offers more that just boots on the ground. However, the game will not lose the relentless attention to detail and cinematic scale that the Call of Duty series is known for.
The trailer, which you can see below, featured the famous weapons of World War II and brutal vehicular combat. One of the characters also says, “Welcome to the Bloody First.”
The stream also revealed that Sledgehammer’s game will be available later this year, on November 3.
