Crew Members
Outside of characters in Mass Effect: Andromeda that you can take on missions are other crew members that stay only on the ship or sometimes enter hub areas like Nexus and Aya. They don’t have Loyalty Missions, but you can do things for them and still flirt (which you need to do after every major event).
Suvi (Romance Restrictions: Female Ryder Only)
Suvi is one of the pilots on the Tempest in Mass Effect: Andromeda and is pretty interesting. She has a very deep faith in both technology and a higher power, so conversations that show understanding and care (top-left options) work well with her. You’ll want to talk to her after every major mission or event since she’ll usually have new dialogue at those points. Also, complete any random tasks she has, like getting a specific snack for movie night. After enough progress has been made and you’ve been steadily flirting when you can, she’ll invite you to spend some time with her… in your private quarters. You will then have the option to romance Suvi.
Gil (Romance Restrictions: Male Ryder Only)
Gil is in charge of the engines and is your tech guru aboard the Tempest and is a pretty cool dude. You can flirt with him immediately and he does not hesitate to flirt back. Keep an eye on your email and he’ll invite you to hang out at a bar on the Nexus. Continue to flirt afterwards and in time he’ll invite you to meet up on Eos for some romance, as long as you’re single.
Romance Off-Ship NPCS
These are NPCs that have some quests tied to them. They’re not mandatory quests, but they are worthwhile for experience and the potential romances that spring from them
Avela (Romance Restrictions: Male Ryder Only)
Avela is an archeologist located on Aya. You can flirt with her when you first reach the planet (even though you can’t explore it yet), and she’ll give you a mission titled “Recovering the Past.” It will task you with collecting artifacts on certain planets then bringing them to her museum (which you can access later). Keep flirting, and when you complete all of her missions you can romance her.
Reyes (Romance Restrictions: None)
Reyes is a cunning, human smuggler you’ll become acquainted with on Kadara while helping the Angarans. He’s a bit of a cheat and always sends you on missions, yet never shows up to help until the last minute. Still, he’s handsome and very funny at times. To romance him, you simply need to start working with him by denying Sloane’s initial request when you first reach the planet. He’ll have you investigate murders, deal with his ex, and pay for a few drinks, but keep the flirting up and when it’s all said and done you can romance him after attending a party and stealing some valuable booze.
Keri (Romance Restrictions: None)
Keri is an interviewer that you can start speaking to after settling the first outpost on Eos (which is very early in Mass Effect: Andromeda). It’s part of a project from Director Tann to give people hope and show progress. You can flirt with her during these interactions and she’ll express a bit of interest. However, after enough flirting, she’ll get serious and share how she’s really into you but it’s a conflict of interest. Despite this, she’s not stopping the romance process. She’ll ask you if you’re willing to wait until after all the interviews. If you agree, you can romance her when it’s all done. Also, she doesn’t care if you’re sleeping with anyone else, sweet.
