Mass Effect: Andromeda First Outpost Guide

The First Outpost in Mass Effect: Andromeda

Recommended Videos

As you begin exploring Eos – the first of the major planets in Mass Effect: Andromeda – you’ll eventually have to establish your very first outpost. At this point, you’ll need to choose between making a military outpost, or a scientific one.

This may seem like a decision that would carry a lot of weight going forward, but actually, it doesn’t really make a difference what you choose. Whichever one you’re leaning towards building as your first outpost, just go with it. Once you’ve made your decision, you’ll be able to head back to the Nexus and wake up a few cryo pods. In doing so, the Krogan and Turian leaders will then give their two cents on your decision. Luckily, this isn’t something you need to worry about.

There’s actually no major difference or consequence in choosing one over the other, and people won’t permanently hate you for your decision, either. Sure, some people may be kinda annoyed with you to start with, and a small protest may take place on the side you opted to ignore, but you can win them over with some well-reasoned conversation.
