Which Skills You Should Choose

The drone is perhaps your most useful tool in all of Ghost Recon Wildlands as it allows you to both mark targets and scout an entire enemy base all while remaining undercover. It’s incredibly difficult to detect on the base layout, making it a fantastic surveillance tool for those who want to have a bit of knowledge before charging into battle.

  • Night Vision – Given that Ghost Recon Wildlands has a rather long day and night cycle, it’s more than likely that eventually you will have to conduct a mission in the dark. Since your drone does not come with Night Vision right away, having this is a must. Not only will this making scouting an area easier, but it will also allow you to mark enemies without having to try and spot them moving around in the dark.
  • Range – Your drone has a very limited range when you first get it so being able to extend that is critical to mapping out an entire stronghold. This allows you to simply toss the drone out once and scout the entire location without having to keep throwing the drone out as you slowly advance through the base itself, all while hoping you don’t get spotted in the process.
  • Mark Area – Unlocking this means your drone will now have a wider field of vision when it comes to marking targets. This allows you to spend less time searching for specific individuals and just point the camera in a certain direction to tag all the enemies.
  • EMP – If you want to be a bit more tactical with your drone, then we recommend the EMP ability. This allows you to knock out all electronic devices within its effective range, meaning that alarms, generators, and lights will all fry once used. If you are a person who favors stealth, this is a wonderful way to not only distract the guards, but also ensure that you can move in the cover of darkness without shooting at a light to possibly give your position away.
  • Explosive – Much like the EMP, this turns your little drone into a flying bomb that’s capable of crippling an entire vehicle upon detonation. Use this to either initiate an attack, turn the Unidad and cartel hostile against one another, or remove a high priority targets ability to escape via a helicopter.
