Ghost Recon Wildlands: How to Get the ACR

ACR Location – Ghost Recon Wildlands

Recommended Videos

The ACR is perhaps one of the best weapons in all of Ghost Recon Wildlands thanks to its high damage, accuracy, and handling base stats. Upgrading it via weapon parts only makes the gun even more potent, even when you slap a silencer on this rifle and cut the damage down a bit for quieter engagements. However, this weapon isn’t easily found as it resides in one of the most dangerous areas in all of Ghost Recon Wildlands, the Media Luna. This area is not marked or protected by a specific cartel boss, as it serves as one of the end game locations you will play in later on.

However, this doesn’t mean you cannot explore the area as it is still open for travel from the very start. We recommend trying for the ACR around level 10 if you are hellbent on using it, as you’ll have enough familiarity with the game and upgrades to possibly sneak your way past. In order to find it you’ll want to locate an intel document (a gray circle with a lowercase I in it) and choose the blue “Weapon and Parts Locations” tab that appears. If this doesn’t show up then you’ll need to find another intel dump that does let you pick it. Remember this area is very dangerous so play it safe and try to slowly sneak your way through the bases.

Once you have unlocked this, all the icons should pop up across your mini map. From here simply scroll over each one until the ACR pops up. Now it’s just a matter of going to that specific base and not dying along the way. If you’re a skilled pilot you can fly to this area and skydive in, but given the plethora of surface to air missiles this may be difficult. Don’t try to kill every soldier in the area, just try and sneak your way to the weapon box and open it.

If you do get spotted, just make a mad dash for the ACR and grab it before you die. Ghost Recon Wildlands will save the date after you get it, meaning you don’t need to worry about getting out if you are discovered. Just play it very slow and safe in this area and one of the best assault rifles in all Ghost Recon Wildlands will be yours.
