Hidden Trophies – Horizon Zero Dawn Trophy Guide

The following trophies are normally hidden when you check the trophy list for Horizon Zero Dawn, and some of these contain story-related spoilers. If you want to avoid any story spoilers for Horizon Zero Dawn, turn back now.

• 7 types of machine overridden (Bronze) – Unlocked and used the overrides for 7 different types of machine. Get close behind a machine undetected and hold Triangle to override the machine (as long as you cleared its Cauldron). Do this to seven different machine types to get this trophy.
• All Acquisition machines killed (Bronze) – Killed at least one of every type of Acquisition machine. See All Transport machines killed.
• All Recon machines killed (Bronze) – Killed at least one of every type of Reconnaissance machine. See All Transport machines killed.
• All Combat machines killed (Bronze) – Killed at least one of every type of Combat machine. See All Transport machines killed.
• All Transport machines killed (Bronze) – Killed at least one of every type of Transport machine. For all of these trophies, simply kill one of every machine you see in the game. Some of the toughest will be Stormbirds, and Thunderjaws, but you’ll have to head into the snowy mountains to find and kill the Freeze Bellowbacks.
• First Tallneck Overridden (Bronze) – Scaled a Tallneck and accessed its information. See All Tallnecks Overriden.
• First Bandit Camp Cleared (Bronze) – Took back a settlement from a bandit clan. See Cleared all the Bandit Camps.
• First Core Overridden (Bronze) – Reached the Core of a Cauldron and accessed its information. See All Cores Overriden.
• All Suns at one Ground (Bronze) – Earned at least a Half Sun mark in all three trials at one Hunting Ground. See Blazing Suns at All Grounds.
• Blazing Suns at one Ground (Bronze) – Earned a Blazing Sun mark in all three trials at one Hunting Ground. See Blazing Suns at All Grounds.
• First Corrupted Zone Cleared (Bronze) – Killed all the corrupted machines in a Corrupted Zone. See All Corrupted Zones Cleared.
• All Tallnecks Overridden (Silver) – Scaled all of the Tallnecks and accessed their information. There are five Tallnecks across the map, marked with a blue Tallneck logo. Head to these and use your surroundings to reach the top of them. Press. Triangle to override them and access the information to get this trophy.
• Cleared all the Bandit Camps (Silver) – Took back all settlements from the bandit clans. There are six Bandit Camps to clear in Horizon Zero Dawn, marked by blue skull symbols on your map. Kill all enemies in each of these to get this silver.
• All Cores Overridden (Silver) – Reached the Core of every Cauldron and accessed the information within. There are four Cauldrons to access in Horizon Zero Dawn. Override each of their cores to get this trophy. 
• All Suns at all Grounds (Silver) – Earned at least a Half Sun mark in all trials at all of the Hunting Grounds. See Blazing Suns at All Grounds.
• Blazing Sun at all Grounds (Gold) – Earned a Blazing Sun mark in all trials at all of the Hunting Grounds. There are three trials at each of Horizon Zero Dawn’s five Hunting Grounds. Complete each of them within the set Gold time limit to get a Blazing Sun. Do this for all 15 trials to get this trophy.
• All Corrupted Zones Cleared (Silver) – Killed all the corrupted machines in every Corrupted Zone. Corrupted Zones are filled with the stronger, Corrupted versions of the machines. Defeat all of the Corrupted machines in each of the 11 Corrupted Zones to get this trophy.
• All Machines Cataloged (Bronze) – Encountered and Focus scanned every type of machine. Simply scan every machine in Horizon Zero Dawn with your Focus.
• First Vantage Found (Bronze) – Found and accessed a Vantage datapoint. See All Vantages Found.
• First Metal Flower Found (Bronze) – Discovered a strange metal flower. See All Metal Flowers Found.
• First Banuk Figure Found (Bronze) – Found a wooden effigy left by a Banuk traveler. See All Banuk Figures Found.
• First Ancient Vessel Found (Bronze) – Found an ancient vessel once used by the Old Ones. See All Ancient Vessels Found.
• All Vantages Found (Bronze) – Found and accessed all of the Vantage datapoints. Check out our guide on every Vantage Point Cache location in Horizon Zero Dawn.
• All Metal Flowers Found (Bronze) – Found all of the Metal Flowers. Check out our guide on where to find all of the Metal Flowers in Horizon Zero Dawn. When you find the last one, the trophy will pop.
• All Banuk Figures Found (Bronze) – Found all of Arnak’s figures. Check out our guide on where to find all of the Banuk Figures. Once you’ve obtained the last one, the trophy will automatically pop.
• All Ancient Vessels Found (Bronze) – Found all of the Ancient Vessels. Read our guide for where to find all of the Ancient Vessels in Horizon Zero Dawn. The trophy will pop once you’ve picked up the last one.
• Got the Shield-Weaver outfit (Bronze) – Recovered an ancient technology and put it to use. The Shield-Weaver outfit requires a bit of searching and collecting to unlock. Check out our guide to walk you through the process.
• Followed Rost’s teachings (Bronze) – Learned to hunt and fight alongside Rost. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Defeated the Sawtooth (Bronze) – Defeated the Sawtooth that threatened the Nora. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Triumphed in the Proving (Bronze) – Overcame adversity and placed first in the Proving. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Fought back the corruption (Bronze) – Destroyed the corruption inside the Nora valley. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Learned of the ancient past (Bronze) – Learned of the ancient past at Maker’s End. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Crashed the Eclipse network (Bronze) – Infiltrate the Eclipse battle camp and crashed their network. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Discovered the truth (Bronze) – Discovered the truth of Zero Dawn. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Broke the siege of All-Mother (Bronze) – Defeated the invaders and went inside the sacred mountain. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• Recovered a powerful weapon (Bronze) – Explored the Mountain That Fell and recovered a powerful weapon. Story related. Cannot be missed.
• All allies joined (Bronze) – Given Aloy’s actions, all possible optional allies joined the defense. For this, you’ll need to complete a number of side missions to ensure that all possible sidekicks are by Aloy’s side for the final battle. We advise clearing all other missions before playing through Horizon Zero Dawn’s final boss so that you don’t have to do it again for this trophy.
• Ended the war machine threat (Gold) – Ended the threat of the ancient war machines. Complete the game and watch the credits roll to get this trophy.
• Victorious with the War-Chief (Bronze) – Found the Nora War-Chief and defeated the killers in the Ring of Metal. Complete the Revenge of the Nora quest.
• Saved Meridian from its foe (Bronze) – Helped Erend investigate Ersa’s fate, and foiled a plot against Meridian. Complete the The Sun Shall Fall quest.
• Aided the defectors (Bronze) – Aided the escape of Uthid and the child king Itamen from the Shadow Carja. Complete the Queen’s Gambit quest.
• Hunted Redmaw with Talanah (Bronze) – Rose through the ranks of the Hunters Lodge and helped Talanah defeat Redmaw. Complete the Redmaw quest.
