Ni No Kuni was originally released back in 2010 and charmed players with its magical world and beautiful animation, courtesy of the famed Studio Ghibli. Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a long awaited sequel set to be released later this year and publisher Bandai Namco has just released a lovely new gameplay video.
Called “To the Kingmaker’s Mound!” this video begins by showing off the main characters charging across a vast open world that looks at least as big as the last one. The gameplay then shows off a little platforming as one of the characters uses what appears to be a geyser to get to a higher level. The party then encounters a large enemy called Thogg: The Woolly Bully of Cloudcoil Canyon. Check out the video for yourself:
Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is set to be released sometime later this year. As we reported recently, the game has been announced for both PS4 and PC and will run at 1080p/60fps on standard PS4s.
