Resident Evil 7 – Using the Model Shotgun

Recommended Videos

After defeating Marguerite in the greenhouse and finding out the Lucas has captured Zoe and Mia, you’ll be sent back to the main house where you can obtain the Snake Key. This will allow you to access the attic, along with a new part of the house. In the attic, you’ll find a Model Shotgun. Needless to say, it can’t be used as a lethal weapon because, y’know, it’s just a model.

However, you can bring the item back to the first floor where you originally obtained your first Shotgun weapon. In obtaining the Shotgun, you’ll have replaced it with the Broken Shotgun on the statue pedestal. With the Model Shotgun, you’ll be able to take back the Broken Shotgun without being trapped in the room. Now, if you can get your hands on a Repair Kit, you can then repair the Broken Shotgun and get an even more powerful weapon called the M21 Shotgun. This weapon is a lot more effective than your original Shotgun, and you’ll definitely want it for the final stretch of the game.
