Smite and Paladins developer Hi-Rez Studios announced its latest title, Smite Rivals, to the public at the Hi-Rez Expo event in Atlanta today. The free to play game will be available for iOS, Android, and Steam.
Similar to Supercell’s Clash Royale, Smite Rivals is a collectible card arena game with real-time multiplayer. Each player fights with a deck including a god, minions, and structures to place in one of three lanes towards the opposing player’s towers. Once the towers are destroyed, the units will focus on destroying the god to win the game. Check out the reveal trailer for Smite Rivals below.
The Hi-Rez Expo kicks off the four-day event today with the Smite World Championship for PC and Smite Console World Championship. Paladins, the early access free to play multiplayer shooter, will be getting its own invitational tournament.
Anyone interested in Smite Rivals can sign up for the closed beta here. The studio is offering rewards based on how many people sign up and share, such as currency, cards, and temporary boosts. The game is exprected to release in 2017.
