Grand Theft Auto V Spends Another Week at the Top of the UK Game Charts

Good news for Rockstar.

Grand Theft Auto V, despite originally being released back in 2013, last week managed to climb to the top of the UK game charts, putting Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare into second. Grand Theft Auto has managed to stay on top for another week running and Infinite Warfare has now fallen to third place behind FIFA 17.

It may be lower in the charts now, but Infinite Warfare was still the No. 1 game over the holiday season and was the first game of 2017 to be in the top spot, pretty impressive considering it was released in early November of last year.

The top 20 are as follows:

  1. Grand Theft Auto V
  2. FIFA 17
  3. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  4. Battlefield 1
  5. Watch Dogs 2
  6. Rocket League
  7. Steep
  8. Forza Horizon 3
  9. Mafia III
  10. Overwatch
  11. WWE 2K17
  12. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
  13. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
  14. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
  15. Pokemon Sun
  16. Gravity Rush 2
  17. Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  18. Final Fantasy XV
  19. Pokemon Moon
  20. The Division

The charts haven’t been shaken up too much this year due to the lack of major releases in January. The PlayStation 4 exclusive Gravity Rush 2 was released last week but, as you can see, failed to break the top 10. This week will see the release of the highly anticipated Resident Evil 7: Biohazard which will no doubt shake things up.
