Stardew Valley Getting a Patch on Consoles to Fix Some Pressing Issues

Return to the farm on consoles!

Stardew Valley, only one of the best farming sim games we’ve seen since Harvest Moon 64, is now available on PS4 and Xbox One. However, the console version of the game isn’t doing too well at the moment, as it’s currently plagued with a few bugs that can seriously affect gameplay. Thankfully, developer Eric Barone has announced that a patch is on the way, and here are the issues you can expect to be addressed:

  • Game crashes when going to sleep around the 3rd day, if the system language is not english. (PS4)
  • Game crashes in certain cases if the Exit To Title button was used (Xbox One)
  • Occasional hitching/freezing in the Xbox One version
  • GUI elements cut off on the edges of the screen on certain TV setups
  • Control improvements

Stardew Valley is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam. The developer will continue to monitor the console versions of the game and address bugs and glitches whenever those arise.
