resident evil 7 is a lot like resident evil 1

Resident Evil 7 Gameplay Videos Give Us a Detailed Look at the Spooky Baker House

Nice decor.

Capcom has just released three separate gameplay videos for Resident Evil 7, and they all look spooky as all hell. While there’s not a lot of combat to be seen here, the videos do provide us with a nice tour around the Baker house. The house looks rather reminiscent of the Spencer estate back in the original Resident Evil, and it’s full of winding corridors, and little dark corners to explore. You can check out the three videos down below.

The first video also shows us what confrontation with Jack Baker will look like. As previously mentioned, Jack seems to be immortal, and normal means of killing enemies won’t affect him too much. We get a glimpse of even more mold-covered monsters, which were introduced in the demo’s Midnight update, as well as some giant flies that can attack you. Y’know, because it’s a Resident Evil game, so of course there have to be giant insects.

Resident Evil 7 is set to be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24, 2017.
