Steep: How to Get First Person View and Change the Camera

Steep – First Person View

Recommended Videos

Steep allows players to head out into vast expanses of the Alps and make your way down to the bottom in whatever way you see fit. You’re free to explore the mountain in how ever way you would feel like, from Skiing, Snowboarding, Wingsuiting, or by Paraglider. You can do this in different points of views, but here’s how to in First Person view.

While getting an action-cam viewpoint on your character allows you to truly admire how majestic you look as you make your way downhill, the first person viewpoint is the best for those looking for a truly immersive snowsport experience.

To go into first person mode in Steep, all you need to do is hit the L1 or LB button until you notice the camera viewpoint has changed. Once this is done, simply head down the mountain as you normally would. It’s worth noting that the first person view will make it significantly more difficult for you to navigate your way down and pull off tricks along the way. However, if you want to get a try of what it really feels like to be speeding down a mountain in a wingsuit, this is the best option for you.
