Project Reality, one of the biggest modding projects for Battlefield 2, has received a major update that can now be enjoyed by all players.
Version 1.4 adds content based on the Falklands War; the ten week conflict between the British and the Argentinians over the Falklands Islands that took place in 1982.
The update adds British and Argentinian factions, new weapons, vehicles and locations, completely free of charge to anyone who downloads Project Reality.
You can watch the just released trailer for the update below.
The team behind Project Reality also released a detailed statement, which dives into what’s been added and reworked with the update, alongside some screenshots and gifs showing off more of the gameplay from the Falklands content.
You can download the update from the Project Reality website right here.
Though the mod is free, you can donate to the project, which goes directly to paying for the expenses that come with a task as large scale as this, by clicking on this link.
