KoniKoni City – Pokemon Sun
Pokemon Sun’s KoniKoni City is on the south end of Akala Island, and it’s also where you’ll find the Grand Trails with the second Kahuna, Olivia. It’s a place you’ll have to go through at some point, but there’s a couple areas you need to get through first.
Once you’ve completed Mallow’s trial, you’ll need to travel to the Dimensional Research Lab with Kukui. This is located in the bottom right area of Heahea City, so head there, enter the building, and go up the elevator. After the story scenes, you’ll be pointed in the direction of Diglett’s Tunnel, which is also in Heahea City.
To get there, start from the Pokemon Center and head immediately down and to the right, and you’ll see the tunnel entrance. Head inside and you’ll run into a couple Team Skull Grunts to beat down. Go down and follow the path on the left all the way around, beating the trainers in the process. Eventually you’ll reach the exit to the tunnel, and come out on Route 9.
From here it’s just a simple walk to KoniKoni City, so head down and up through the grand arches of the city. There are a ton of different shops in KoniKoni, including a TM and clothing shop. Once you’ve had your fill of exploring, find Olivia’s shop on the left side of the first row of buildings. Heading inside will eventually lead you to the Grand Trial of Akala Island.
