Pokemon Sun and Moon: Where to Get Quick Balls

Catch them quick.

Pokemon Sun and Moon – Quick Balls

Recommended Videos

Quick Balls are a pretty useful type of Poke Ball that you can use in Sun and Moon. By throwing a Quick Ball at the very start of a wild encounter, you’ll increase your chance of capturing the Pokemon you see. This can come in especially useful during encounters with creatures that are notoriously difficult to catch, like Beldum, or the legendary Pokemon.

As you progress through the story, you can obtain Quick Balls pretty easily from NPCs. However, if you do happen to run out of those, you will be able to purchase them once you reach the second island, Akala. The Quick Balls can be bought at the Poke Center found at Route 8, right next to the motel. Not all Poke Centers will stock Quick Balls, however, so be sure to head to Route 8 if you need to buy some more. With these, you’ll now be able to attempt to capture wild Pokemon during your first turn of the encounter.
