For those who have been eyeing the NES Classic that has been touted around by Nintendo, you might want to get your debit and credit cards ready. According to Amazon, the console is set to go on sale on Nov. 11, at 2 p.m PT.
According to an email posted by Wario64, the NES will be limited to one console for a person and has limited quantities. It was not stated just how many are being sold, but Amazon is disabling 1-Click ordering for it. The console should be sold for $59.99, which is the set price shown on the official Nintendo website.
The console is basically a smaller version of the original NES, but this one will come with 30 pre-installed games such as Super Mario, Donkey Kong and several other classic Nintendo games. There are also several reviews out already about this new classic edition, so it makes sense that the release date would soon follow.
The same tweet also goes on to say that Amazon will be taking more orders in the upcoming weeks, so no need to freak out if you don’t get it the first time. If you cannot get there in time to order off Amazon, there are still two other retailers that will sell the NES Classic: Best Buy and Target. It is not known if they will take orders the same day or around the same time.
