Epic Games’ battle royale title Fortnite is certainly no stranger to crossovers, bridging the gap between video games and all forms of entertainment mediums. Following the arrival of Arcane’s Vi and Jinx, the stage is set for yet another interesting collaboration. This time around, Fortnite will be welcoming Grammy-nominated R&B duo Silk Sonic, made up of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, to the Icon Series.
Players will get access to the pair starting on Thursday, February 10, a 7 PM ET, with accessories and Outfits available in the Item Shop.
If you are a fan of Bruno Mars, you can get his Outift alongside the Sound Scepter Pickaxe, which can be used as a Back Bling too. There is also the Freedom Wheels Emote to show off your moves. As for Anderson .Paak, his Outfit comes with the Sonic Snare Back Bling and the Boom Bap Pickaxe. There are also alternate styles to the default outfits, so you can truly show off your love in different ways.
However, if you want to start looking suave and cool ahead of time, you can always compete in the Silk Sonic Cup happening on Monday, February 7. If you earn at least eight points, you can also get the Silk Sonic spray. More details about the Silk Sonic Cup can be found on Epic’s latest blog post.
The arrival of the duo will be accompanied by a new in-game radio station, with Icon Radio putting out tunes by Silk Sonic and more, all hosted by Bootsy Collins.
